An actual planned example is illustrated above. In this example, it was intended that after the conventional DST's, the four zones were to be abandoned using our FLOW-SURE SS located below the packer and then monitored for the next few years using PARAGON-EM. In this way, a greater understanding of the field connectivity is established, and importantly, made possible by the use of our wirelessly controlled valves and our hybrid telemetry systems.

KUBIC-FLUX is an important consideration when abandoning long term gauges and can be used to ensure reservoir conditions are balanced and optimised for detecting small interference pressure pulses for later collection.

Not using KUBIC-FLUX in certain overbalanced situations has previously shown to invalidate the data collected, and wasted client money.
