  • Electronic Engineer

    As part of our ongoing development of down-hole communications technology the Electronic Engineering department are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Electronic Engineer to join our team. The successful applicant will work primarily within the Electronics R&D team to expand and enhance the range of services that Metrol provides.


  • Electronics Assembler

    This role is for an Electronic Assembler to work as part of the Production team and be involved in the development, assembly, test, and servicing of electronic products and ancillary equipment.


  • Electronics Technician

    This role is for an Electronics Technician to work as part of our Electronics Workshop team. You will be involved in the assembly, test, and repair of a broad range of electronics required for the development of downhole electronic tools.


  • Production Engineer - Mechanical

    The Production Engineer role is to effectively engineer the transition of a product from R&D project through to production. This will involve providing the necessary guidance, documentation and information required to allow ongoing production and support of our mechanical products, while doing so in accordance with company processes and procedures, and ensuring that best practice manufacturing philosophies, methods and techniques are adopted.


  • Embedded Engineer

    We are seeking an Embedded Engineer to join our growing R&D team. Depending on the candidates experience and aptitude, the role will carry with it significant responsibility. The candidate will design, develop and test firmware for downhole and surface tools. They will be responsible for the full firmware development life-cycle.


  • Trainee Storeperson

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual to join our busy materials team, based our our HQ in Dyce. The Trainee Storeperson will develop their knowledge, skills and competencies with the aim to becoming a Storeperson and support the business by effectively processing and managing stock and materials in accordance with Company procedures to meet demand.


  • Mechanical Workshop Technician

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual to join our busy workshop, based at our HQ in Dyce. The role involves assembling, servicing and maintaining a variety of Metrol tool assemblies, pipework, clamps and ancillary fittings to meet delivery requirements, as well as assisting the Team leader with the organisation and allocation or work.
